Regional Field Sales/marketing Representative : Employment Equity

Leading Automotive group seeking an experienced Regional Parts Field Sales Marketer (Employment Equity African applicants only) for the PTA, North West, Limpopo, Polokwane, Mpumalanga region, reporting to the Parts GM you must be a highly customer centric, energetic, and target driven professional with good field sales and Marketing expertise


  • Matric

  • Min 3 years Regional Field Sales experience 

  • Motor / Motor Retail expeirence an advantage

  • Valid Drivers licence

  • Willingness to work flexible hours

  • Able to travel to the relevant regioal sales areas 



  • Computer literate/Kerridge experience

  • At least 3yrs of experience with proven track record

  • Up to date knowledge, where appropriate, of

  • Computerised recording procedures

  • Marketing experience


  • Reporting to the GM Parts, the incumbent will:

  • Liaise with customers daily regarding progress of service/repairs and parts availability

  • Enhance supplier relationships

  • General administration

  • To ensure highest standard of courtesy and efficiency in customer contact and communication

  • Accurate recording of customers detail to ensure accurate service history

  • Support cost control, and supplier invoices and orders processed correctly

  • Maintain effective liaison with parts departments of all dealerships in Gauteng

  • Support all warranty repairs are carried out within manufacturer parameters

  • To Market and grow part sales in all areas of our business to meet and exceed targerts

  • To visit distributors, fleet owners, trade outlets and panel shops to develop and grow client base to improve sales of parts and accessories

  • To keep all existing and potential customers aware of new promotions and benefits offered by the dealerships.

  • To maintain records showing times, periods and frequencies of part purchases

  • To ensure all existing and new customers are regularly visited to cement good relationships and to seek new and repeat business

  • To maintain a list of prospects for current and future business to increase market share

  • Activities and Feedback to parts managers and GM Parts

  • Build and maintain relationships with customers, parts managers and staff, fleet sales staff, distributors, trade outlets, fleet users and GM

  • Maintain strong communication between clients, debtors and part managers to ensure ongoing risk management of debtors book.

  • To ensure customer satisfaction and service confidence and manage any risks 

  • To work in conjunction with parts sales representatives 


  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with customers and all staff

  • Be capable of conversing with people at all levels in a professional manner

  • Ability to handle upset customers effectively

  • Planning, organising, controlling and problem solving skills.

  • Technical qualifications an added advantage
