Payroll Administrator

This 6 month temporary contract requires the expertise of an experienced Payroll Administrator.
Duties include processing payrolls on VIP Premier, invoicing on Sage Pastel Partner V17 and well as all relevant administration.
Experience on Sage VIP Premier and Pastel Partner as well as MS Office is essential.


  • Timeous and accurate completion of contractors salaries and salary payslips on Sage VIP Payroll Premier

  • Timeous and accurate issuing of invoices on Sage Pastel Partner V17

  • Timeous and accurate compilation of contractor contract documentation

  • Nurture and maintain good relationships with both clients and contractors, simultaneously behaving in a professional manner


  • Collation of timesheets [hours and claims] onto Excel Spreadsheets

  • Processing Payrolls on VIP Payroll Premier

  • Handling all Payroll / Invoicing queries

  • Debtor Invoicing on Sage Pastel Partner V17

  • Reconciling Remittances to Invoices

  • Month End Statements

  • Gross Profit Reports

  • Leave Administration

  • Advance, Gratuity & Special Payments

  • Adding & Terminating Employees onto Sage VIP Payroll Premier

  • UIF Forms


  • Creditor Invoicing on Sage Pastel Partner

  • Reconciling Invoices to Remittances

  • Month End Remittances

Computer Skills:  Must have experience on the following:

  • Sage VIP Payroll Premier

  • Sage Pastel Partner

  • MS Office [Excel, Word & Outlook]


  • Ensure adherence to company’s Systems and Procedures

  • Adherence to company’s Values and Behaviours

  • Communicating the company’s brand at all times
